Okay Swishers,

EDIT: For downloading, the links are given below by Ali Roman.

......IMPORTANT......

Before clicking on the URL links, PLEASE! read the following:

The link is:

1. Base Movie Size = 68 Kbytes.
2. loaded Movie Sizes = between 20 and 32 Kbytes
3. Movie Has Background Loop

Here is a tutorial based 'mini' site which i have put together to demonstrate some of the techniques which I have developed and used over the past painstaking 'Trial and Error' bouts.

The Swi included, exemplifies the following:

1) Clear Navigation - That's 'Confusion Proof', i.e actions and animation won't get stuck. Guaranteed!

2) Text Masking Techniques - The Pro-like way to bring text in and out of one's vision.

3) Effective Use of Colors

4) Effective Use of Sounds - The use of 1 sound used in many different ways

5) Reasonably Complex Tell-Target Actions within 'Base' Movie and Between Loaded and Base Movie.

6) Effective Use of Controller Sprites

7) Achieving Overall Color Balance - Color co-ordination between Raster and Vector images.

8) Smooth Animation Sequencing - Exemplifying the effectiveness and results of planned sequence of object motion.

9) Text Clarity - The use of Pixel fonts and the application of methodical sequencial color changing techniques.

10) User Friendlyness - Presenting 'MOODS'

11) Create Your Own Pixel Perfect Text or Symbols - working with the snap to grid at 1px.

12) Working Habits - The use of the grid at Horiz = 1px and Vert at 1 px,

13) Clear Movie and Object Scale Dimensions - always working to precise grid-snapped pixel perfect dimensions.

14) File Size

When you have downloaded the Zip files, Please Read the "READ ME FIRST.txt" before doing anything.

You can use ANY or ALL of the files including images and sounds in any manner you want, although it was complied with the intention of demonstrating various techniques in a tutroial manner. You can even use the mini site as a foundation template for projects of your own.

If you have any comments, Please feel free to contact me via any of the site's correspondence forms.

I have kept it as basic as possible.

Have Lots of Fun!

Riff
