Hi,
This is a tutorial on how to set up 4 buttons perfectly aligned and spaced. We often see people making a menu where the buttons are not aligned on the x-axe and not properly spaced in relation to each other. Use this tutorial to do better.
1. create an empty movie (size not important) 2. draw one rectangel at the size you want it to be 3. draw 3 other rectangles without paying attention on the size of them Something like this should be the result so far :

4. select the rectangles one by one by clicking on them and holding down the CTRL button BUT click last on the correct sized button ! (this is very important) !!! LEAVE THEM SELECTED DURING THE WHOLE TUTORIAL 5. now all the rectangles should be selected 6. go to the menu/modify/align and checkmark RELATIVE TO LAST SELECTED. 7. go again to menu/modify/align/make same/ and click on by resizing 8. go again to menu/modify/align/make same and click on both 9. now you should have something like this :
 10. goto modify/anchor and click on top left (if it is not checked yet, otherwise leave it) 11. goto modify/align and click on TOP 12. goto modify/align and checkmark RELATIVE TO ALL SELECTED 13. goto modify/align/space evenly and click on horizontally 14. now you should have four buttons all identically the same size and perfectly aligned on the X-axes and perfectly spaced in relation to each other.
 15. While they are selected, you can drag them all at once to the place you want.
Have fun.
