Change the fill options to fountain fill like in the picture:
type: linear
color blend: from black to 60% black
angle: -45
steps: 256
edge pad: 25
mid-point: 50
2. With the elipse tool holding ctrl pressed draw circle:
3. Create a mask from the object: mask>create>create mask from object or press ctrl+M. The go to mask>mask outline>reduce and enter 4 at the width box.
4. Change the fill options like in the picture:
Type: Radial
Center offset: Horizontal: -22
vertical: 22
color blend: from blue to sky blue
mid-point: 50
steps: 256
edge pad 25
5. Fill the object and remove the mask:
6. Add a drop shadow to the object:
7. With the text tool writ a letter let say "A":
8. Now add a drop shadow to the text with the following properties:
Use the preset "small glow" After that change:
shadow color = black
shadow direction 0
shadow offset = 0
shadow transparency = 10
shadow feather = 20
shadow feather direction = outside
shadow feather edge = linear
9. Save your work and you finished.
