Modelling and animating 3D photorealistic watch

Modelling the bottom detail ( seconds counter ),its texturing and animating
1.In the Scene Editor, create a cylinder using the Create Cylinder tool and in the Properties panel make this settings shown in the picture below.

2.Click on Object in the Properties panel and add name for this cylinder( for example: axis).
3.Now, select the axis cylinder in the Front viewport and drag it down to locate it like in this picture( click on the axis cylinder and with the down arrow key on your keyboard, move it -press once).

4.Create another cylinder, in the Properties panel/Object add name detail1, change settings for Segmentation (Axial and Radial ) to 64 and with the Scaling Mode tool resize it ( set the Length to 0.2) and locate it like in the picture below.

5.Copy and paste detail1 and in the Properties panel/Object add name detail2.Set Radius to 0.6 and move it down like in this picture.

6.Now copy and paste detail2, add name for this cylinder detail3,set Radius to 0.7 and move it down like in this picture.

7.If you are finished, open the Extrusion Editor and with the Add Point Tool, draw a form like in the picture1, with Curve Point tool reshape the form like in the picture3.

8.Back to the Scene Editor and you'll see something like this.

9.Now in the Properties panel/Bevels set the Smoothness and Mesh Quality to Smooth and High.Click on Object and add name leg1.In the Properties panel/Sizing make this settings (see picture).

10.Using the Scaling Mode tool, resize the leg1 to get it smaller and locate it like in this picture.

11.Now create a Sphere, resize it, add name leg1sphere, set Segmentation (Longitude and Latitude to 64) and locate it like in the picture below.

12.Now press the Shift key on your keyboar and select leg1 and leg1sphere, got Main menu/Arrange and click Group, to group this two objects.In the Properties panel/Object add name Leg1.Now copy and Paste Leg1 and in the Rotation panel click on the Lock Horizontal button, set angle to 90 and rotate(drag) the object twice to the left ( follow the pictures).

* Locate your Leg2 like in the picture below.

13.Now press Shift key on your keyboard and with mouse pointer select Leg1 and Leg2.In the Main menu/Arrange click Group to group it, and in The Properties panel/Object add name Legs1,2.
14.Copy and paste this group (Legs 1,2), add name Leg 3,4 and make 90 percent rotation witn the Lock Horizontal tool( drag this group Leg3,4 to the left or to the right).You will get this result!

15.Now, press the Shift key on your keyboard and in the Front viewport make multiple selection.Select Leg1,2 , Leg3,4 detail1, detail2, detail3 and axis.Go to Main menu/Arrange and click Group.add name for this group (for Example: seconds counter).
16.Go to the Materials panel/Reflective materials and choose Reflective Orange texture.With this color, texture all elements of the seconds counter like in this picture.

17.Now click on the seconds counter group(in the tree),open the Animation panel/Common Spins and choose Horizontal Left.In the timeline, set the fps value to 10, click on the loop button and press the play button to test the animation!

Modelling and texturing the base of the watch using the Advanced Modeler Editor
1.In the Scene Editor, create cylinder,add name disc, set the Segmentation( Axial and Radial) to 64, change the Length to 0.007, Radius to 0.100 and position it like in the picture below(leave a small gap between legs and disc).

2.Texture the disc with the same Reflective Orange texture like your legs!

3.Now, open the Advanced Modeler Editor, create cylinder and in the set the Segmentation (Axial = 3 and Radial = 16).
4.Now, in the Left viewport, drag the cylinder and make it to look like this in the picture.

5.Now, click on the blank area in the Perspective viewport,maximize the Perspective viewport and rotate 3D area (Alt + drag mouse down).See pictures below.


6.With the Face Selection tool (press F key on your keyboard to activate it), select the faces shown in this picture!

7.Now, minimize the Perspestive viewport (click on the perspective-Active button (see above) and choose Show All Viewports), right click on the Left viewport to activate it, right click over the non-selected area of your cylinder (white fields).The mouse shortcut menu appears and choose Extrude/Y.
8.With this, Extrude your selected area in the Left viewport by dragging to the top once(drag the yellow point).

9.Now, from the tool Menu, choose the Scale Uniform Mode tool (or press S on your keyboard to activate it), catch the red line ( see picture1) and drag it to the left to make something like this (see picture 2).

10.Now, right click over the non-selected area of your cylinder (white fields).The mouse shortcut menu appears and choose Extrude/Y.Catch yellow point and drag it to make something like this.

11.Now to deselect the object, click once on the blank area in the Perspective viewport.Press Alt key on your keyboard and with the mouse rotate the perspective area to view the bottom of your object.

12.With the Face Selection tool (press F key on your keyboard to activate it), select the faces shown in this picture!
13.Right click on the Left viewport to activate it, right click over the non-selected area of your cylinder (white fields).The mouse shortcut menu appears and choose Extrude/Y.With this, Extrude your selected area in the Left viewport by dragging down once(drag the yellow point).

14.Now, from the tool Menu, choose the Scale Uniform Mode tool (or press S on your keyboard to activate it), catch the red line ( see picture1) and drag it to the right to make something like this (see picture 2).

15.Now, goto Main Menu/Edit /Select All to select whole object and in the Properties panel click Surface Groups and press the Group Selectiopn button.Add name for the Surface name( for Example: watch base).
16.In the Left viewport, select the spans shown in this picture.

* Right click over the selected red area and in the Shortcut menu choose Subdivide/Smooth Include Border ( meka this operation twice).The final result is shown below.

17.Now, select whole object (Main menu/Edit/Select all) and in the Material panel choose Wood/Oak, and drag this material to your object!
18.Back to the Scene Editor, use Scale Mode tool to resize the base of your watch and you will see your result.

19.Now locate your base like in the picture below and in the Properties panel/Object add name (for Example: watch base).
