Description:
In this tutorial I will teach you the trick of realistic shading. You may have seen some designs having this type of realistic result made with Adobe Illustrator. But now, you can achieve it using swish as well. To find the answer how, we are getting started. Download from the link given below.

Preview:

STEP 1:
1. Draw a shape, select a colour from the "shape" tab.
2. Its edges should be smooth.
See the following image:

STEP 2:
1. To give it more 3D look, draw another shape at the top of the base.
2. Select a colour for it but remember, its colour should be the bright version of the colour you have used in the step 1.
See the following image:

STEP 3:
1. Come back to the step 1. Copy this shape and paste it over the first one. Reshape it using reshape tool and make it a bit short than the base.
2. Select a dark/light colour from the colour options located in "Shape" tab.
3. Keep applying this method till you reach the end.
See the following image:

Now see the final result of what you made above:

Suggestion:
You may use this tutorial for any shading, using any software. I recommend SWiSH because it is easy and even a beginner can use it.
Hope it helps.
