This is my first Macromedia Fireworks tutorial here in swish-db.
I will guide to how to design a simple connection wire useing macromedia fireworks.
So let me start with an emplty document.
1.Select Pen tool and make a pen like as I have shown in image below,Choose color white and set tip size a value lower than 10.I set tip size to 7.You can find this tool in properties panel.
2.Click on Edit Effects in properties panel.Once edit effects window opened choose drop shadow effect from shadow and glow menu :
Distance : 12
Opacity : 50
Softness : 5
Angle : 300
Distance : 12
Color : white
Now select Glow effect :
Width ; 10
Color : white
Opacity : 40
Softness: 40
Offset : 0
(You can set custom values depending on your path type)
